Though the Bible does not directly use the word ‘Rapture’ it uses many terms and phrases like ‘Gathers’, ‘Taken up’, ‘Caught Up’, ‘Rescues’, ‘Redeems’, ‘Deliver’ or ‘Escape’ in different portions of the Bible when talking about the Rapture. The Lord Jesus referred to this event (when He Returns with the clouds of Heaven) as “Two will be in the Field or Grinding or in the Bed, one will be taken up to Him and the other one will be left behind” (Matthew 24:39-41 Luke 17:34-36).
Many parts of the Bible indicate (from the Old to the New Testament), the Lord’s wrath would start soon after the Rapture. That is, Rapture precedes the wrath of God as in Colossians 3:1-6; 2Thessalonians 2:7-12; Revelation 3:10.
If you are saying, I am a Believer, I am Born Again, I believe in the Holy Trinity, I have the Holy Spirit, I have witnessed for Christ and in fact I am looking forward to the Coming of the Lord Jesus too, therefore I will be surely caught up in the Rapture of the Saints. Then let me remind and warn you from the very “Word of God” – (The Lord Jesus very own Parable in Matthew 25:1-12), that the 5 Foolish Virgins had the same qualities that you and I may be having but still missed the RAPTURE. Why? Because they were complacent and perhaps arrogant of their Salvation (in taking their Salvation for granted) and their Complacency was expressed in their evidence of them taking less oil in their lamps. They were not wholly and fully committed to the Lord and in continuing in His Word (Matthew 22:37; Luke 9:23; John 8:31; Revelation 2:2-5; 3:2-6).
The ‘Wise Virgins’ on the other hand were alert, watchful, prepared and ready (showing no overconfidence on their flesh and giving their best in working out their salvation with fear and trembling) not walking in the arrogance of the assurance of salvation like many Christians do today, (in walking on the ‘Broad Way’ which the Lord Jesus prophesied many would in Matthew 7:13-23 and in Luke 13:23-30).
Beloved of Christ, the loving Lord God has revealed ‘His Day of Appearing’ in His loving kindness, wanting none to perish. The hour has come for us to wake-up and prepare to meet our Lord. The Lord Jesus’ prophetic ‘Wedding Invitation’ goes out today (first to every Believer before it goes to others in the highways and by lanes) for the time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand.
The book ‘The Mystery Unlocked’ also brings to the reader, how a True Believer can prepare to escape the soon coming wrath of God and be Rapture ready on that DAY of REDEMPTION! As the Lord Jesus comes with the Clouds of Heaven!
2 Peter 1:20-21
20 But know this first of all, that no prophecy of Scripture
is a matter of one’s own interpretation,
21for no prophecy was ever made by an act of human will,
but men moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God.
