But before that, let me say, today just like the world, (as I sadly see around), many in the Church, want to hush things up, in rather being ‘politically correct’ like the world teaches us to be, than to be correct with God. One such expression is, in avoiding talking/preaching on ‘Taboo Words’ in the Bible.

One of those taboo words, being ‘The Wrath of God’ in spite of its repeated presence, found through the Bible (in God warning His people to repent and turn back) In fact the Lord Jesus starts His ministry with that very prophetic ‘theme’ as we read in – Mark 1:15 ‘The kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe’.

We Christians are sadly mistaken (like the Jews were); in thinking that God’s divine wrath will not upon His own people. For, the Righteous Judge, will judge the disobedient children. We see that truth, right from the very first chapter in Book of Genesis to the very last chapter in the Book of Revelation.

In the prophetic Book of Revelation, the Lord Jesus repeatedly reminds His Church, several times, to ‘REPENT’ and ‘OVERCOME’ to escape this prophesied coming wrath of God.

We need to remind ourselves, what is WRITTEN will and has to come to pass, immaterial of us (building a rosy picture around us, however romantic or soul stirring it sounds)it will eventually boil down to, not what we ‘think’ or what we have been ‘taught’ but only what is ‘WRITTEN’.

The Holy Bible talks about the ‘The fierce wrath of God that will come on the DAY of the Lord’ and we cannot dodge that bullet. And guess what? – It’s round the corner!

1 Thessalonians 1:10
And to wait for His Son from heaven, whom He raised from the dead,
that is Jesus, who rescues us from the wrath to come.

Revelation 19:15
From His mouth comes a sharp sword,
so that with it He may strike down the nations,
and He will rule them with a rod of iron;
and He treads the wine press of the fierce wrath of God, the Almighty.

Yes, the prophesied Divine wrath of God is to come and will come, and if you are still thinking, ‘Why’? Because firstly what is ‘WRITTEN’ will come to pass and secondly because ‘THE LORD GOD IS A HOLY GOD’ and cannot tolerate evil.

Think about it, the very reason Adam (along with Eve) were sent out from His House/Holy Abode is because of ‘DISOBEDIECE!’ Right…? Or are you in any way thinking “That God is now ok/cool/overlooks sin found among His people”? Well whatever you/I think, the truth is that the answer is – A big NO!

God is the same God, yesterday, today and forever and His character and attitude to sin has not changed from then. Yes, Jesus came to save us from sin. For The name Jesus means –‘saves us from our sin’- but also wanting us to sin no more.

That’s why Hebrews 9:28 & 10:26-27 brings that ‘Truth’, that when the Lord Jesus returns, Jesus does not come to go to the cross all over again but takes the obedient only ,when He comes the Second time.

Hebrews 9:28 ‘So Christ also, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time for salvation without reference to sin, to those who eagerly await Him.’

Hebrews 10:26-27 - ²⁶ For if we go on sinning wilfully after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, ²⁷ but a terrifying expectation of judgment and THE FURY OF A FIRE WHICH WILL CONSUME THE ADVERSARIES.

The ‘Prophetical Verses’ below are ‘Imminent’!

Jeremiah 7:26,29 ²⁶ Yet they did not obey Me or incline their ear, but stiffened their neck. They did worse than their fathers. ²⁹ Cut off your hair and cast it away, and take up a lamentation on the desolate heights; for the LORD has rejected and forsaken the generation of His wrath.’

Ezekiel 30:1-3 The word of the LORD came to me again, saying, ² “Son of man, prophesy and say, ‘Thus says the Lord GOD: “Wail, ‘Woe to the day!’ For the day is near, even the day of the LORD is near; it will be a day of clouds, the time of the Gentiles”.

Lord Jesus as in Matthew 8:11-12:

¹¹ And I say to you that many will come from east and west, and sit down with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven. ¹² But the sons of the kingdom will be cast out into outer darkness. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”

John the Baptist as in Luke 3:6-9:

⁶ And all flesh shall see the salvation of God.⁷ Then he said to the multitudes that came out to be baptized by him, “Brood of vipers! Who warned you to flee from the wrath to come? ⁸ Therefore bear fruits worthy of repentance, and do not begin to say to yourselves, ‘We have Abraham as our father.’ For I say to you that God is able to raise up children to Abraham from these stones. ⁹ And even now the axe is laid to the root of the trees. Therefore every tree which does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.” (I realised that those words of John the Baptist was actually prophetical to our Generation, all obedient believers are all going to see the salvation of God and others the wrath of God).

Revelation 2:5 “Therefore remember from where you have fallen, and repent and do the deeds you did at first; or else I am coming to you and will remove your lampstand out of its place—Unless you repent”

“Now out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should strike the nations. And He Himself will rule them with a rod of iron. He Himself treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God”.
(Revelation 19:15)

“For the day of vengeance is in My heart,
and the year of My redeemed has come.”
(Isaiah 63:4)

“Seek the Lord, All you humble of the earth, who have carried out His
ordinances; Seek righteousness, seek humility.
Perhaps you will be hidden in the day of the LORD’S anger”.
(Zephaniah 2:3)

“Teaching them to observe ‘all things’ that I have commanded you”
(Matthew 28:20)

The above was a mandate and command by our Lord Jesus, upon all His Disciples.

The Church at large, has miserably failed to follow and to teach the second part of ‘The Great Commission – Matthew 28:18-20’. And that really, is the Great Omission. The early Church never neglected to obey/fulfil both the aspects of ‘The Great Commission’ of the Lord Jesus (Acts 2:40-42).

These days there are large crusades on saving a sinner by sharing the salvation message. Praise the Lord for that. But unfortunately this Great Omission, leaves the ‘Saved Sinner’, without the warnings and commands of the Lord Jesus – “Go and sin no more” or “Bear fruits of keeping with repentance, lest you are cut and thrown into fire” or “Not everyone who says Lord’ Lord’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter”.

We have failed to take the Lord Jesus seriously (at His word), when He made it categorically clear several times, that only ‘FEW’ are going to be saved from the fold of His called Sheep. Yes, the Lord prophesied, only few among the ‘Believing Christians’ will enter into His Father’s Eternal Salvation. The following Scripture portions which bring that Truth are found in: (Matthew 7:13-27; Matt 22:14; Matt 25:1-13; Luke 13:22-30; John 8:31-32; 1 Corinthians 9:24-10:11).

Today many of us Christians walk in arrogance of the assurance of their salvation, (like our predecessor Jews) without recognising the vital need to “Obey the Commands of the Lord God”.And that really is the APOSTACY which has come upon the Church today. For make no mistake that Scripture says Apostasy will come in the Last Days (2 Thessalonians 2) and we say we are in the Last Days then we need to accept too that today we the 10 Virgins of Christ are sleeping ( Matthew 25:5-6) or are we denying that and making God’s word a lie? I believe, the prophetical warnings of Isaiah 40:3, Luke 3:3-9 and Malachi 3:1; 4:1-6 comes to the Church today, upon whom the ends of age, has come.

The prophetic Words ‘REPENT AND RETURN FOR THE KINGDOM OF GOD IS AT HAND’ of the Lord Jesus, is so timely, and comes to each one of us and collectively as a Church.

Today many of the Teachings suggest us to Deny the Cross, rather than ourselves (which the Lord actually told us to) would be at the risk of us failing, in coming out through the fiery trials as ‘Overcomes’ but rather as ‘Dried up Branches’ without its fruits, which the Lord said, becomes then fit to be thrown into Hell Fire (John 15:6; Revelation 3:2- 6,15-22 ). Remember, to the Lord it does not matter if you/I am a ‘BELIEVER’, what really matters if we are ‘OBEDIENT BELIEVERS’ (James 2:14, 19-20).

The spiritual walls of the Church are broken and are in ruins. Many of us have gone far away from the ‘Word of God’ as prophesied, we have mingled with nations, and learnt their ways (Psalm 106:35; Ezekiel 11:12). What is preached predominantly today comes majorly under one of these categories:

1. Philosophy Speakers-
2. Motivational Speakers-
3. Prosperity Speakers-
4. Speakers talking about Supernatural Experiences
5. Speakers assuring Promises (fulfilling the conditions seems immaterial)

The balance fall under the category of Speakers teaching the Elementary Principles over and over again – Hebrews 5:12-6:2.

Right from the Lord Jesus to Apostle Paul, Apostle Peter, Apostle John, Apostle James and Jude, all cautioned us several times of such Apostasy to come: (Matthew 7:13-15; Philippians 3:1-3; Hebrews 6:4-6, 12:14-17, 25-9; James 4:1-10; 2 Peter 3:14-18; John 2:24-28; Jude 1:4-5,17-25)

Today, rather than spending hours in front of our T.V’s or on our MP3 players, hearing from supposedly men and women of God, we need to rather spend hours meditating on His word and hearing from God directly, which keeps us focused to our eternal perspective (not earthly). Especially in these last days, in times of prevalent subtle snares of apostasies all around us, Apostle John forewarned us, to keep away from such teachings, lest we shrink in shame along with them, at His Appearing, as in 1John 2:24-28.

The Book ‘THE MYSTERY UNLOCKED’ gives the reader the ways to be ready as the Lord Jesus comes in the Clouds of Heaven to gather His Obedient Bride only, to Himself.

So what is the Lord Jesus trying to say? We know most people have ears. Then why and what did the Lord Jesus mean? Was there a Mystery behind those words? In other words were those words Prophetic?

God reveals truths at different intervals of His Calendar, truths which were once concealed (Deuteronomy 29:29) but can be only received in Faith, ‘Be it unto to me as per your Word’ never with our intellect, however pious and God fearing we are. Mysteries and Revelations cannot be understood at the face of it, for it needs to only to be accepted by faith with a counter personal revelation (if our hearts are humble, open and seeking).

The next greatest event in God’s Calender is the Rapture – Gathering of the faithful Bride of Christ, as the Lord Jesus comes with the clouds of Heaven which 1 Corinthians 15:51 calls a ‘Mystery’. In the light of this, can we expect our Great God to bring out a Revelation, unlocking this ‘Mystery’? The Lord Jesus said to His disciples are given the Mysteries of the Kingdom of God (Mark 4:11).

Let’s step back a little and recollect that even the 12 Disciples of the Lord Jesus did not know and understand everything their Lord and Master spoke? Even when the Lord Jesus spoke plainly to them, their stuck mind came in the way.

To take the first example about the Lord Jesus trying to repeatedly tell them, “It’s time for the Son of man to be delivered into the hands of men, and after which He would die to rise again.”

Luke 9:44-45 ⁴⁴ “Let these words sink into your ears; for the Son of Man is going to be delivered into the hands of men.” ⁴⁵ But they did not understand this statement, and it was concealed from them so that they would not perceive it; and they were afraid to ask Him about this statement.

John 20:8-9 ⁸ So the other disciple who had first come to the tomb then also entered, and he saw and believed. ⁹ For as yet they did not understand the Scripture, that He must rise again from the dead.

Taking another example, when the Lord said in Mark7:14-15 saying ‘Listen to Me, all of you, and understand: there is nothing outside a man which can defile him if it goes into him; but the things which proceed out of the man are what defile the man.’ Mark 7:19 ends with brackets (Thus He declared all foods clean).

Now look closely, it is at that very time, the Lord Jesus then says in Mark 7:16 ‘If anyone has ears to hear, let him hear.’

Whenever the ‘Prophetic Phrase’ ‘If anyone has ears to hear, let him hear’ was spoken by the Lord Jesus, three aspects surrounded it:

1. Firstly, it was a turning point in God’s calendar, for His People.
2. It was spoken as a pretext to a Great Mystery which would be later unlocked.
3. Lastly, even though the Lord clearly spoke those words, strangely though, we see His people still took time to fully understand it. Because in those words was a Great Mystery to be unlocked at latter point of time. In other words those words were prophetic of our Lord. (Think about it, for if our Lord quoted Prophet Isaiah’s and other Prophets words being fulfilled in His time, we err in thinking that the words of Lord Jesus would not carry prophesies to be fulfilled at latter points of time).

The Lord God intentionally put the setting of the ‘Phrase’ ‘If anyone has ears to hear, let him hear’ soon after bringing out the Revelation ‘that all foods were clean’ only to know that later on He would use this same revelation to connect and open a much Bigger Truth/Mystery. Yes the same became a turning point in God’s Calendar for the Gospel to be preached to the Gentiles who were once considered unclean. However it only took an attentive and sensitive and alert ear of few Jewish Believers, who were tuned in to His Spirit to pick up the same.

Today in these Last Days, once again the Spirit of the Lord, is opening up another great secret thing of God which was hidden all this time, in the settings of the same ‘Phrase’ ‘If anyone has ears to hear, let him hear’ – Yes, it is the prophetic words of the Lord Jesus to our generation upon whom the ends of the ages has come.

Mark 4:22-23
‘For nothing is hidden, except to be revealed;
nor has anything been secret,
but that it would come to light.’
‘If anyone has ears to hear, let him hear’

The Mystery of the Rapture as in 1 Corinthians 15:51 which was once locked up, only to be opened now, true to the word of God in these last days as prophesied in Joel 2:28-32 and Acts 2:17-18. However even after it’s being opened, many would still confess – ‘NO ONE KNOWS’. Even though the Spirit of the Lord has now opened the Seals of things which were once locked, we still confess with our mouths that ‘IT IS Still SEALED’ as prophesied way back by Prophet Isaiah in Isaiah 29:13 and Prophet Jeremiah in Jeremiah 6:17. Why? That is because unfortunately over the years we are so influenced by the Teachings, Tradition and Doctrines of man (and man’s spirit has rubbed on us more than God’s).

While documenting this Book ‘THE MYSTERY UNLOCKED’ I was humbled when the Lord brought to me two Prophetical portions to this Book as below:

Isaiah 29:11-13
¹¹ The whole vision has become to you like the words of a book that is sealed,which men deliver to one who is literate, saying, “Read this, please.”
And he says, “I cannot, for it is sealed.”¹² Then the book is delivered to one who is illiterate, saying, “Read this, please” and he says, “I am not literate. Therefore the Lord said: “In as much as these people draw near with their mouths and honour Me with their lips, But have removed their hearts far from Me, And their fear toward Me is taught by the commandment of men”

Jeremiah 6:17
Also, I set watchmen over you, saying,
‘Listen to the sound of the trumpet!’
But they said, ‘We will not listen.’

This Book ‘The Mystery Unlocked’ is as a forerunner announcing Christ Jesus – The Bridegroom’s coming (Matthew 25:6). Why? Because of God’s immense love for His people, in wanting none to perish!

If you are thinking, the Church cannot possibly expect any new Prophecy or Revelation from the Lord in these Last Days, you are mistaken. Yes of course, we not only can but we are told to be attentive and not despise it when it comes (Mark 4:22-23; John 16:12-13; Acts 2:17-21; 1Thessalonians 5:19-21; Revelation 3:22).This Mystery that is now Unlocked, is what the whole creation and even the angles longed to look into (Psalm 98; Romans 8:19-25; 1Peter 1:9-13).

I will bring another portion in the Book of Revelation, which may open your eyes as you read a portion from the Bible, where the Lord Jesus Himself is saying a faithful obedient believer who is continuing in God’s word, will know the time of His coming. We see there, It’s only an disobedient, unfaithful and complacent believer will not know the time and hour of His Bridegroom’s coming. But notice again the Lord ends with those words ‘If anyone has ears to hear, let him hear’. I would like you yourself to take time out digging into the word of God and discern for yourself as you read that portion from Revelation 3:2-6. I am in awe when I see how beautifully it ties up so well with the Lord’s another own Prophetical Parable of the 10 Virgins. When the Lord Jesus brought out that the 5 prepared Wise Virgins knew the time of His coming and saw their Bridegroom as they went with Him into the room, to have the 5 Foolish left out knowing the Door not knowing when the Lord came (as a Thief would come and go) Matthew 25:1-13. Again we see the another Scripture tying up so beautifully with the revelation which Apostle Paul got, when spoke boldly declaring the same in 1Thessalonians 5:4-5.

Beloved of Christ the Book ‘THE MYSTERY UNLOCKED’ brings our attention to many prophetic words which are being opened, unto our generation upon whom the ends of age have come. The question is, are we going to be alert, watchful and heed and discern, (not miss it this time again like our predecessors – the Jews)? Are we going to despise any new revelation (in the Err of the arrogance of our understanding of Scriptures – Romans 11:33-36) what the Lord’s Spirit may be bringing to the Church in these Last Days? Especially in the light of the next greatest even in God’s Calendar which even angels looked forward to. (1Thessalonians 19-21; 1 Peter 1:10-13).

Daniel 12:9-10
⁹ He said, “Go your way, Daniel,
for these words are concealed and sealed up until the end time.
¹⁰ Many will be purged, purified and refined,
but the wicked will act wickedly;
and none of the wicked will understand,
but those who have insight will understand.

Revelation 3:22
He, who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the Churches

2 Peter 1:19-21
¹⁹ And so we have the prophetic word confirmed,
which you do well to heed as a light that shines in a dark place,
until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts;
²⁰ knowing this first, that no prophecy of Scripture is of any private interpretation,
²¹for prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke
as they were moved by the Holy Spirit
